Online: Clear Transitions: Divorce Workshop for Women

Divorce is a major life change that can bring needed freedom from an unwanted relationship, but also present a host of emotional and financial challenges. While the entire family is greatly impacted by divorce, a woman’s economic security is among the greatest risks.
Family Forward wants you to be able to access the resources and information you need to navigate a path to strength, independence and greater emotional stability.
If you choose to leave your partner, we want to support you in navigating a path forward to the life you want to live. And if the divorce was not your choice, know that there is support and help to start down this unexpected new path.
Family Forward Oregon has partnered with Clear Transitions PDX, a volunteer-run monthly workshop just for divorcing women, to help answer some of the often confusing “what’s next?” questions.
We’ll be hosting this workshop every 3rd Saturday. At this workshop anyone considering or going through a divorce can connect with mediators, attorneys, financial advisors and counselors to help them navigate this tricky time and, hopefully, offer some helpful guidance and direction. You’ll hear about the necessary legal and other steps to be taken, and, importantly, you can ask personal questions and gain a deeper understanding of how to handle your own situation.
Divorce is a difficult transition, especially when children are involved. But we believe in the strength and resilience of all women and hope you will join us for a workshop.
