Kathy Kacena Viniyoga Special Series
Dear Yoga Samadhi Community,
We are excited to announce a special 4-part series with Kathy Kacena!
She has designed this series with her loyal students in mind and has made it accessible to all. Whether you have attended Kathy’s classes in the past or not, this course will enrich your yoga practice, and your life. For those of you who have been taking Kathy’s Yin Yang classes consistently, she will be teaching a whole new set of practices that will add to what you have learned and will help carry you forward in your practice with greater depth of connection and presence.
Viniyoga Special Series with Kathy, in her words:
“Breath-centric asana, pranayama, and meditation.
We will begin each session with a short discussion, primarily about the Viniyoga style of practice and pranayama.
Our practice will begin with 35-45 minutes of Viniyoga-style asana, followed by basic yogic breathing practices (pranayama) as taught in the Viniyoga tradition and will end with meditation.”
Kathy will tap into her many years of studying, practicing and teaching yoga to offer this course, pulling especially from her
1999 apprenticeship with the Viniyoga school, The Pierce Program in Atlanta Georgia, and her direct experience studying Viniyoga with TKV Desikachar and Gary Kraftsow (Krishnamacharya lineage).
We are offering this Special 4-Part Series with Kathy Kacena as an extension of our Regular Class Schedule. Translated, that means you may use your current Unlimited Passes, 10x Class Passes, or Purchase a Drop-In Class Pass for each Monday.
She would like each of you to attend all 4 Mondays. If you have trouble with the timing, or cannot make it one Monday, we will add all participants to a Special Group which will have access to a Recorded Version of the Class each week, available until the next Monday class. We are hoping this new option will make this course even more available and accessible to all. What you will do is: Register for the Monday morning class as usual and, whether or not you make the live session online (which is preferred, of course), you will be given access to a video recording of that class for one week. To find the video recording, you will Login to your account in Wellness Living, look for a Tab in the top right section of the opening page that says, “Watch Video.” Press that Tab and it should take you to the recording!
All four Mondays in February:
2/1, 2/8, 2/15, and 2/22.
Time: 8:30 am – 10:00 am
If you have any questions or need help registering, please feel free to reach out to me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
